MagicTune is an even more advanced than the OSD button. It is an integrated software program that is designed to optimize all monitor settings, and is equipped with an intuitive GUI (Graphic User Interface) which includes many more features, as compared to OSD.
MagicTune software allows the average user to make display adjustments much easier, more conveniently, and accurately, yet can also satisfy the much more precise and sophisticated requirements of graphics experts.
MagicTune employs an advanced display technology, called the DDC/CI (Display Data Channel Command Interface) protocol, to control all monitor settings. By simply connecting the signal cable, and by moving and clicking your mouse, it is now possible to set the optimum display settings faster and easier than ever.

Magictune is a Samsung's program for changing various monitor settings like color, gamma, position, etc. These settings are available on all monitors, through the buttons on the front panel; but if you find it difficult to use them, then this program will be helpful.
Modern monitors use the DDC/CI Display Data Channel / Command Interface, which is actually a bidirectional bus. Thus, not only can we send data to the monitor to control it, but also the monitor can send some feedback data like sensor values, brightness, color, contrast, etc.
The program offers a setting called ‘MagicColor', where you get many predefined modes, like Text, Movie, Game, etc. However, these settings are only good for places where you have enough light in the background. Otherwise, they will surely cause eye strain.
Any LCD monitor needs color fine tuning. It is because different operating systems and applications (like Adobe Photoshop) use different color modes. MagicTune generates a color profile with the settings of your choice, for you to re-use the profile later on. |
